Chalet Robinson

If you are looking for something unique this is it, but wouldn't recommend this as a "must-go," not at all...

There is novelty in the location for sure, getting to take a little ferry boat in the middle of Bois de la Cambre, in the middle of Brussels is very cool. Unfortunately the food, service and price negates the experience.

There is so much potential for this cool experience, however, we have tried Chalet Robinson several times and each time it disappoints. We have only included it here as many inquire about it, and it is easy to see the Chalet in the park and be charmed by its appearance. The only thing we’d suggest, is joining for a Sunday Brunch… c’est tout!

Admittedly, brunch has not yet been perfected in Brussels. For a big group, its not terrible, however, don’t bank on great service or high quality food.

Pros
  • Cool location
  • Big brunch
  • Good for big groups
  • Super instagrammable
Cons
  • Poor service
  • Overpriced
  • Crowded

We had to include it for the cool factor... but only really worth it if you've already done all the other cool/unique places in Brussels... eek!

Rob's verdictHip but not for me
I am great fan of a relaxed, easy start of the day = brunches. It's very instagrammable, but that's not worth ruining my morning with extra moody service and overpaying.
