What makes a great neighborhood bar? The neighborhood – the people! And Chez Franz manages to attract lots, with good reason: The food is always good, and the vibe is always friendly, also classy.

Chez Franz is a local favorite with an international vibe, lots of expats; It is one of those “classy classic” Brussels spots where you can get a cozy brunch (say yes to the roast chicken!), an evening drink, or a simple dinner. During the week they have a rotating menu which changes frequently. Also Sunday afternoon/evening live concert while eating pasta. 

One of the best things of this neighborhood staple, is that is has wonderful terrace space, with additional seating on the side. You are seated next to green brushes and bushes, gotta love it when the sun is shining. Of course, as one of the few nice places for a few blocks, it can get crowded, but maintains a casual vibe. It is also a wonderful location for people watching the fabulous Uccloise.
